Jones Family

This family holds a special place in my heart. They have allowed me the opportunity to photograph them twice which has given me the chance to watch the boys grow and change. They have a good time and make me laugh with their antics and playful spirits.

Rainy Day Session

Rainy days can present challenges but this little darling was up for a session in her rain boots. These candid shots are among my favorites because they captured real life as it happened.

9th Birthday

When celebrating a birthday, I like to include something special to the child. In this case, the theme was Star Wars and the boy was delighted to bring his favorite, taped up broken light saber to the session.

A local mom asked me to help her pull off a Christmas surprise for her mother-in-law. Meeting these cousins was a great time. They fully enjoyed the session and I think that was evident in the results. Rumor has it Grandma was delighted too.

The kind of parents who let me take their kids out at bedtime to play in a field of wildflowers are my favorite kind of parents. Anna was about to turn 6 when I loaded her up with her best friend just before sunset in May. These images will forever be some of my most favorite.

This young woman has been making me laugh for years. Her quick sarcastic responses are missed if you aren’t paying attention. She made short work of her Senior session as she was simply too busy to play for very long and I appreciated her professional approach to “get it done”. I have no doubt success awaits this determined teen.

Being asked to return home to Dayton, Ohio to shoot this awesome high school senior was quite an honor. I have known him since the day he was born and treasure my friendship with his mother. This young man has serious goals and enough ambition to guarantee his success.
